Peter Lydon picks up Gold at AdFest

Peter Lydon's work with Leo Burnett Sydney for Samsung la st year picked up three awards at the AdFest Awards on 20th March 2016. Adfest is Asia Pacific’s most celebrated and recognised regional creative festival.

The ad, which features Game of Thrones star, Kristian Nairn, shows him play a character in a fantasy film who becomes frustrated with the viewer (that’s you!) for watching the stunning cinematic visuals on an old, low definition screen.

The ad boasted an impressive interactive element which is revealed when you watch the spot on different devices; a line of the dialogue changes, insulting your choice of mobile phone, tablet or screen, depending on which you have chosen to watch it on.

The ad picked up Bronze awards in both Branded Content and Creative Use of Technology and Gold in Rich Media Advertising for Mobile.
